Mrs. Watford grew up in Tuttle and graduated from THS in 1989. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond and graduated in 1993 with a degree in Early Childhood Education (PK-3). Soon after graduation, she received a job teaching transitional first grade (T-1) at Tuttle Elementary for 12 years. When Kindergarten changed to a full day program, Mrs. Watford decided to change to teaching Kindergarten, where she has been for the past 8 years. Twenty years later, she is still teaching at the elementary and looks forward to several more years. She loves living in her home town and raising her two daughters with her husband of 20 years, Jay.

Mrs. Watford married her husband Jay, who is also from Tuttle, in August of 1994. She had her first daughter, Rylee in 1997 and her second daughter, Reagan in 2000. She is very involved in her daughter's cheer activities and is completely a "cheer mom". Both daughters have cheered for Tuttle and competitive cheer gyms, such as Extreme Athletes and Oklahoma Twisters. Rylee currently is a junior in high school and cheers for Tuttle, and Reagan is in 8th grade and cheers for the Oklahoma Twisters this year.
