I graduated high school from Paden Public Schools. I graduated from college from East Central University.
I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am certified in elementary education, language arts, and social science. I become National Board Certified in Early Childhood in 1999 and 2009.
I am trained Accelerated Reader, Math Their Way, Ag in the Classroom, Navigate Readiness by the Payne Education Center, and Pearson Learning. I enjoy learning new hands-on information to teach my students.
I have been teaching at Tuttle Schools since 2008. I teach Transitional First grade.
I taught at Noble Public Schools for 11 years prior to moving to Tuttle. I also started my education career at Whitebead Elementary teaching 1st and 3rd grade.
My husband, CL, is an Ag Instructor and FFA advisor at the high school. My son is in college studying law enforcement. I have a daughter at the middle school. We have a barn full of show sheep that take up most of our time. Plus we have two four legged children that love doggy biscuits and a game of catch.
My husband is the Ag instructor at the high school. We enjoy spending time as a family at livestock shows. My daughter is active in 4-H and enjoys showing sheep. My family is important to me and I love spending time with them. My family's newest obsession is bow shooting. My daughter is taking part of the 4H Archery Club and her brother enjoys time at the range with her.
I am an avid reader. I enjoy mystery suspenses and light hearted mysteries. A good book is more important than any chore.
